This Roman leather armor accented with gold was first seen on Chris Barrie in the role of Arnold Rimmer in a 1993 episode of the comedic science fiction television series 𝑹𝒆𝒅 𝑫𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒇 titled 𝑹𝒊𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅.   Over a decade later, the costume reappeared in a 2010 sketch of the British comedy series 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑴𝒊𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑾𝒆𝒃𝒃 𝑳𝒐𝒐𝒌, titled 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒅 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒆𝒔𝒂𝒓, in which actor Richard Webb wore it as Caesar.   See who may have designed this costume at Bit.ly/AncMed011
