Hitori was very new to this kingdom. But being that there were monsters everywhere, and these 'magitek' fiends flying around, he had to adapt. Ever since accords were made to help out the struggling lands, including this one, mages were sent all over to assist in whatever they can. For him, it was helping these people called 'hunters', as they try to rid of what they call Daemons. The earth mage studied the desert as he stood on a hill surrounded by strange glowing carvings. Apparently he was suppose to hunt for a Behemoth, but the only sighting was by a small boy who was lucky not to be seen. A sigh escaped from him. "I should at least bring company with me next time. I've only been here a few days, and this desert has me bored out of my mind."

“An’ if that’s a body I will kick yer butt from here to next Tuesday.” Cid crosses his arms and points to the garage, “I think she’s in there. Probably tryin’ to find shorter shorts to give me a dang heart attack.”

Aranea has a smug smirk on her face. "So I heard it's someone's birthday today." She purrs. "I didn't get you a present. What do I gotta do for you to forgive me?" Her fingers playfully tug on his collar, lightly brushing his jaw before she steps away just out of reach.

“Hm, I wonder.” Ignis’ expression may be carefully neutral as he endures her teasing touch, but there’s a wolfish gleam in his gaze. Oh Aranea you are playing with fire today. He taps his chin in a dramatic mockery of consideration, playing at the laughable thought that he might actually need to think about what he’d ask of her given such a blatant opportunity. “It’s a high crime to forget a man’s birthday in Lucis you know, but I might be convinced to consider a pardon. I seem to remember a lovely little collar that might do the trick.”
