Hello~ Long time Lurker and Liker here! Sorry for the sporadic like-spam, I think abt your blog like every few months and just explore.

I wanted to ask, what do you think Rocket makes of our Terran superstitions? I imagine space Travellers probably have their own superstitions, but theyre probably different from ours.

Like, I was eating lunch and spilled salt, so I did as superstition says and tossed some over my shoulder and the image of Rocket staring at Reader going "Why tf would you do that?" Popped into my head. I dont think he'd really care, would only get annoyed if Adam and the Star Kids picked some of them up, like "Step on a Crack, break your Mamas back"

... now, personally, i think rocket is SO superstitious, both in little habits (like always keeping a honchi everbloom on board for safe travel through jump-points, or always wasting the first bullet from a box of new ammo) and in bigger, more pervasive ways of thinking (like the belief that he ruins everything). i think he'd be baffled by some of your terran superstitions but as soon as you explained — this is to ward off bad luck, this is to bring good fortune — he'd probably adopt a few of them himself. what could it hurt? if you're wrong, all he's done is wasted a little bit of salt. no big deal when there are whole planets made out of the stuff.

and if you're right, maybe it'll bring in some extra units — which he'll be more than happy to share with you! ♡♡

(Mod you write jet and swift really well as they annoy the crap outta me yet I like seeing them happy? It's weird. Also I no clue swifty was a robot cause he annoyed me so much in boom that skipped the episode! Hah!)

*Jet watches Sonic run back across the water to the ship. His boyfriend is a what now?? He turns to look at Swifty. Swifty is facing forward, avoiding eye contact* ...... WHAT??

*Swifty stares at him for a moment* .... You're not freakazoiding out over my roboticized bod?

No. If anything, it makes you an even better challenge. You can get upgrades. Hmph. *He waves his hand*

*Swifty grins and shoves his shoulder affectionately* Maybe this shrew should get some boosters and give you a taste of real radical speed!

*Jet looks over at him, smiling back. He elbows Swifty* Yeah! But not before I upgrade my gear, too! Hah!

*Swifty laughs and pushes him back* How's about a little radical race between loveronies~?

You're on!! *Jet kisses his cheek and grabs his gear, which he took with him, unsurprisingly*

prime bros headcanon- once Nine is exposed to fresh food like fruit and vegetables not from a can or dehydrated or whatever New Yoke had Nine is almost as ravenous as Mangey. Like he'll eat a tomato like an apple and not care, it's better than the crap back where he's from. His brother's find it a little weird at first until Nine brings something back from New yoke and make them try it.

As Nine is too used to everything being so so processed and artificial and not natural, fresh fruits and veggies are both heaven and hell. They taste delicious but the first time he overeats, it makes him sick because his body is not used to digesting this kind of diet.

Once the bros learn how the things in New Yoke were like, Tails suggest to start slow, like moving to tasty and good packaged snacks and foods and then gradually adding purely fresh things to Nine's diet.

Speaking from experience, a sudden start from packaged food to the fresh, non-packaged one is not that easy. Where we live, everyone uses milk being delivered fresh from the farms. I couldn't drink it (still can't without flavouring) because I was so used to the taste of packaged milk. That also includes every single milk product like yogurt and butter. While we used to buy them packaged before, we now make them at home. They are much more healthy and delicious but it took a while to get used to it. Thankfully we had fresh veggies and fruits and other meals instead of things always being canned or packaged.

Anyways, Nine would be unable to switch so suddenly but he loves it all the same. Besides, it's not like New Yoke's disgusting and dry diet; food and snacks is something he actually relishes now. Though, once he does get used to eating fresh food, you'll see him munching on the most random of things in the most random situation. The baffled, "Where did you get that?" moments are very amusing whenever it happens.

Similarly, Sails doesn't like things that aren't made of seafood or coconuts. The first things he actually likes from the land are chili dogs and fruits.

Mangey can... digest everything. Like a goat.

Holy crap im finally caught up! Hi, sorry for the like spam, I found this blog about a day ago and read through the whole thing I love it so much! You, my dear mod, need to be a writer at Sega, you know the characters so well, they feel perfectly in character! Nothing feels rushed or hap-hazardly put together plot wise, it just flows nicely.

Not to mention how topics are handled, when sonic and jet were making talking abt their prior relationship i was like, "is Mod a psych major or a whole therapist?!" You're doing great at this sweetie!

I would would write out a list of my favorite parts of this blog, but it would probably be longer than orbot and cubot's vows. So I'll just say that you're doing amazingly!

This just made my whole month, thank you!! It's been fun seeing where you are in the story every day in my notifications, actually! It's nice seeing people put in all of that time and effort into reading the whole thing. A lot has happened in the past two months!

I'm truly honored to receive your kind words about my writing. I'm neither a SEGA writer nor a therapist, but I do have a fascination with character development, dialogue, and psychology. During those difficult situations, I tend to pull from things I've experienced in my own life in order to both process and make the writing feel a bit more real. I'm glad it made the story more captivating to read!

All of that said, I'm so grateful for your encouragement! It means more than you know, and I'm glad I get to write a story that makes you anons and not-so-anons smile. I look forward to all of our adventures in the future!
