Forgot to ask before, but now that you are back in the fandom, will we be getting the return of religious imagery/trauma Remus? I ate that shit up like a full course meal back in high school and I need it back in my life

but I will say, my physical health has taken quite the turn since highschool (and my mental health) so drawing now kinda really hurts some days not to mention how much I'm working

I hate when people say Thomas is mischaracterizing his own characters. Like, how can he mischaracterize his characters when he literally wrote them??? Sure, in more recent videos they may seem a tad bit basic, but that’s because the more recent videos are skits. They’re not going to do full character explorations in a video about the sides doing hear me out cakes or acting out incorrect quotes, and besides I’d say that they were pretty in character in What Makes a Perfect Gift?.

I love how Remus is connected to rats. Not only because of how rats are usually seen as disgusting, filthy creatures by a major part of society, but also because of the fact that rats are extremely social creatures and need attention to be able to thrive, much like a certain Duke and his purpose as dark creativity and intrusive thoughts

I love the way that Ford haunts the narrative of Gravity Falls because it's a very nontraditional way that a character haunts the narrative. Usually when a character haunts a narrative, we know their identity from people they knew in the past (think Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond from Steven Universe), but in Ford's case, we don't ever know his identity until he's revealed in Not What He Seems and A Tale of Two Stans. Since we don't know his identity, a lot of his narrative haunting is very subtle and not easily noticeable upon first watch. It's not until you rewatch the series after the first time, you see just how much impact Ford's had on the narrative and how much he haunts it. Like, almost every single episode has some subtle nod to him from the one polaroid photo of Stan in the end of The Legend of the Gobblewonker to his glasses in Carpet Diem, but since you don't know his identity yet, all those subtle nods don't ever seem too suspicious until you rewatch the series.
