Danny Johnson with an s/o who has homicidal urges but ended up on the side of the survivors? I’ve been obsessed with lackingspace’s Homecoming lately, and there’s just not enough writing out there about the concept of a homicidal survivor. (I love and appreciate you! You’re hella amazing my dude 💖)
I just followed lackingspace on your recommendation and I’m looking forward to reading their stuff when I snag some time!
I think there would be a lot of guilt on your part to begin with. You’re supposed to be surviving with these people, but for some reason you keep having thoughts about snapping Claudette’s neck or stabbing Dwight. Sometimes you think about taking that little trick Laurie taught you for striking the killer and turning it on her.
When you first encounter Danny, you see the joy he takes from killing, and the ease with which he does it. It fills you with a strange longing, and the more you try to push the feelings down the stronger the urges become.
If you approach Danny outside of a trial and express all the thoughts and feelings seeing him kill awakens in you, he’ll be extremely interested from the start. He’ll do everything he can to encourage these feelings. He’ll tell you what it’s like to drive a blade through someone’s flesh, the euphoria that comes with feeling the warmth of their blood. Even if you aren’t there yet, Danny will mold you into a killer.
