Some tears when the chicks were returned to the farm as well as some as the ducklings were returned. Lots of opportunities to learn ( life/death, empathy, care of chicks or ducks and the list goes on) I am happy to provide this for some families. This family purchase their own equipment for hatching so I just provided the eggs and a place to return the hatchings. Nice to get previously loved chicks and ducklings back to the farm. As much as I would love to keep them all it isn’t possible.
