Romantic Comedies are Fugged up

Okay I kind of love Romantic Comedies but I also recognize that they are mad fucked and teach some very unhealthy shit to young boys and girls. Almost every romance/romantic comedy opens with some happy couple doing their couple things. But then the guy goes off to a bar and has sex with some other girl and they break up. But then he goes to her and proclaims his undying love for her and tells her how much of a mistake he made and that he has changed, but that’s just some bs right there. Romantic comedies teach you that you can treat someone as shitty as you want as long as it’s out of “love” and as long as you go back and have some confession of love after you treat someone with no respect its fine and if they reject you THEY’RE the dick and that just so unhealthy????
