Turn it Up | Ellie & Morgan
Sweet baby Rayquaza it was cold.
It wasn't even snowing yet, but Morgan was already starting to use her Larvesta as her own personal heating device as she tended to do during the cold season.
"Why haven't you evolved yet ?" She questioned the little firebug that was nestled all snug and warm on her stomach. The trainer and Pokemon duo were lazing around in the breakroom, Morgan sprawled out on one of many couches, wrapped in a fluffy blanket and kept company by Hero and only Hero. In response to her question, the baby moth simply lifted his head and stared at her, before scurrying up and making himself comfortable on her chest.
"I get it, fluffball. You will when you're ready... But geez, don't you think you could hurry it up ? Your tiny little body isn't enough to keep me as warm as I'd like t'be, ya know ?"
This time he responded with a little chirping sound, he then proceeded to fluff up as much as he could as if to say 'are you happy now?'
"Like... I don't get why the heater in here of all places has to be busted. Maybe I ought'a bitch to someone about it, hm ? That'll fix the issue faster... But for now, I think I'll pull out another one of my natural heating systems."
And with that, the bluenette popped one of the pokeballs off her belt and from it released a Rapidash. The perfect natural heating system that was also capable of setting the entire place ablaze.
The flame-horse made a point to survey the area, relaxing once she made herself certain that nobody else was around but herself, her trainer, and Hero the Larvesta.
Though she did tense up and turn towards the door as someone came in, lowering her head and exhaling loudly through her nose as a warning to them so they kept their distance.
Wondering what the hell her horse was getting uptight about, Morgan sat up and raised an eyebrow, her gaze moving from the fire-type, to the lady who had just come in.
"Agro calm down, she ain't gonna do nothin'. I've seen her around before, she's cool." She ran a hand along the equine Pokemon's neck until she settled down on the floor, then the bluenette lifted her to apologize for the Rapidash's behavior.
"Sorry about Agro, man. She's like that with strangers an' has been ever since I got her. She won't hurt ya though."
Even though the Rapidash had been reassured, she still didn't take her wary gaze off the newcomer, though she wasn't agitated anymore.
