Gosh I know the feeling, I'm the same with a couple of fanfics of mine. I think it depends on how much inspiration you have about it and how much you care about it. Bc no matter the readers, if I love my story I'm not willing to abandon it.

Oh, I won't abandon it! I still love what's going to come but I often question my own judgement of my writing. I like where the story is going and I don't know if it's the story or if it's just timing of posting but I feel like I'm losing readers and I don't know why or what to do or why I'm suddenly more alone in liking it and yeah … But I won't abandon it, but I also don't feel like writing a chapter a day or very much like sharing my writing with others.
