#ThatTime I went snowboarding for the 1st time! I was def nervous and super excited. I had so many expectations and references from watching Johnny Tsunami as a youth to the winter XGames but nothing could have prepped me for all the falling on hard, icey snow I would be doing. Nonetheless, I had a blast, especially when I caught my balance and started speeding down the slopes! Still couldn't figure out how to properly stop lol. Still had so much fun! My bro told me the icey snow is normal on the east coast and that the powdery snow is more on the west (might have to check that out some time in the future). I def encourage folks to partake in some winter sports/activities (tis the season/while it's still there aka global warming). Def looking forward to my next session on the slopes.
