do you suddenly hate Fenris now?

I’m pretty sure you made this in response to this post,  and I’m going to try to answer this as calm and  ‘friendly’  as I can,  but since I am pretty defensive about the entire Dark Times - situation and Fenris as a character,  I might start getting a little … passionate along the way.

(It also doesn’t help that you come into my inbox and pretty much question my love for one of my biggest comfort characters,  only because I critique the way that he has been created.)

I love Fenris.

I also love Thazulok.

There has also been confirmation from several places that Bioware employees had been asking about looking at mods just a bit before Dragon Age 2 came out,  and lo - and - behold,  plagiarism of a mod takes place.

Mike Laidlaw can deny this all he wants,  but we can’t deny the uncanny resemblance.  For a long time,  @orsino did God’s work and posted about this in a specified tag.

So yes,  I am upset.  And yes,  I will never let people forget about Dark Times and Thazulok.  But that does not mean I love Fenris any less.

Does the mod thing mean no one can like Fenris anymore? He's my favorite romance. ;.; Im worried a sudden group of anti Fenris with spring up and attack people who like him over this.

no!! i love fenris too, trust me <3 the right decision for bioware here would have been to acknowledge the connection with DT - just tell people that dark times exists, and so does thaz, as an inspiration for DA2. meanwhile, the DT team made the elves brothers, and frankly i love that canon.
