thcquestion
Holding out until his shift at the clinic ended, though that was a good hour away, and very late (yawn) never was terribly taxing unless gangs had been roughing up the neighborhoods around the area-- which wasn't bad, as areas go. So when somebody strange comes in? It’s either some new villain, some poor victim of a villain (his money’s on Joker), or just someone with unfortunate fashion sense.
“Hello. Do you need anything?”
{ &. thcquestion . }
“Bring him.”
Poor wretched thing, she thought as she watched him writhe. All it took was one kiss to bring them to their knees. Anticlimactic, if you asked her. Vines slithered around the wriggling body bringing it to her side like an offering. She brought their head into her lap, brushing her fingers through their hair. An oddly intimate gesture given that she was the reason they were in this position at all.
She ran her tongue over her bottom lip deliberately, staring into his eyes, “Did you like it? Tastes like strawberries, right?”
No response.
”This one’s my favorite. I extracted it fresh only a day ago. I’ve been playing with combinations and I finally got one that works. You’re my first little experiment. It’s really good stuff, a real slow acting toxin. First, it weakens your skeletal muscles, paralyzes you, and then it just keeps on giving. Terrifyingly beautiful, really. Until eventually, it’ll get to the point where it paralyzes your diaphragm. Then, you die, from asphyxiation.”
“So, then, riddle me this.” She deadpanned, the irony not lost on her, “In about, 10 minutes or so you’ll lose your ability to speak. But, if you’re good and tell me what I want to know---”
She tapped his nose affectionately, “I might just give you the antidote.”
