I've noticed jkkers talking about Tae and Taekook so much despite nothing happening. They are definitely insecure. And they will have the silliest takes like Taekook can't be together because they have no sexual tension. First of all are you blind because there has been so many blatant moments of them being clearly attracted to eachother and secondly have they ever met a gay couple in real life because I'm pretty sure queer couples have normal relationships too that aren't just nonstop flirting and being horny for eachother 24/7.

You can call me delusional but as someone who is happily married, Taekook scream couple vibes to me, not because of grand gestures but the simple consistent things. It's the way Jungkook is considerate of Tae not being able to eat spicy food and cutting Tae's meat up into small pieces because he likes it that way. It's Jungkook saying he wants to be seen as cool and Tae always making a point to refer to him or what he does as cool, while Jungkook thinks Tae is the most handsome man he's ever seen and constantly compliments he's natural beauty. It's Tae thinking Jungkook has the best voice in Korea despite also being a singer, and Jungkook singing romantic songs for him. It's them having different taste in music yet having a shared playlist and sharing their music with eachother first. It's them having shared hobbies together that everyone knows is their thing like gaming, karaoke and film/photography. It's spending time together before and after work trips out of the country and knowing eachothers tastes, habits and schedules. I don't mind the fact we don't get as much Taekook content because it's so clear to me that whatever they share is something really special and is a relationship that is for them, that they try to keep separate from their jobs and I respect that.

on fandom and feedback

You know, I wish there were accepted fandom shorthand for how much feedback people want. Like. Some easy way for authors to indicate where they fall on a spectrum between ‘please don’t talk I’m shy,’ ‘I’m really only interested in concrit I can use to improve,’ ‘I would love to hear that you liked it,’ and ‘PLEASE WRITE ME A BOOK REPORT.’

I love writing book reports for people about every single thing that delighted me (I take NOTES while I am reading fic on my laptop), but I also recognize that while a lot of people respond to this with ‘!!! :D :D :D’ there are also people who are like ‘OH GOD SO MUCH PRESSURE WHY D: D: D:’ and I would like not to crush anyone under the weight of my enthusiasm. That’s like, the opposite of the point.

I don’t actually have a solution to this unless we come up with the fandom equivalent of the hanky code, but honestly I would kind of like one.
