The Bachs - Table of Green Fields (1968)
The Bachs, a Chicago garage rock group, recorded a very lo-fi album of all originals in 1968. Only releasing 150 copies, it has become one those legendary garage/psych LPs. It's actually pretty good though perhaps not a amazing as you'd imagine based on the raves. This cosmic folk rock ballad is often mentioned as the best song, though I'm also partial to Show Me That You Want to Go Home as well. (someone posted it here on Tumblr but I can't locate it)
