behold ... penda, the barrow cat*.

*not actually a cat just instead something the barrow created to combat the loneliness. acts like a cat, though. he's very polite if you bring him treats. he loves to sleep next to the register.

one day, i'll explain the barrow and its weird eldritch energy fully. just know it loves and it hates. it wants to keep its loved ones safe and destroy their hated ones. there's been a non-zero amount of times mark has had to retrieve someone from the back room. there isn't any harm in it. it really is easy to get lost if you aren't paying attention. there's a basement for the real cursed items. there is no basement on the floor plan nor can many people see it. if you see the basement, it's only because it trusts you.

you don't want to know what it does if it hates you.
