So lets talk about R00ts || Backstory
It’s been a while since I’ve done this and I have be procrastination this for far to long but it’s about time I kick my ass into gear so here we go this will be one heck of a ride.
R00ts wasn’t always ‘R00ts’. He was a Sans but a Sans that fell into the core. This act replaced the usually ‘Gaster fell into the core’ deal. The exact method of how he fell or why can vary. He could have jumped, he could have pushed, heck he could have tripped on that long ass scarf of his but nonetheless he fell and that unnatural death lead to the creation of R00ts.
He was thrown into a void call the The Bygone. A vast, blue empty space with a single screen like object. Now The Bygone was run by something I simply refer to as ‘The Program’. I’m so creative look at me The Bygone and The Program worked together brake down dead or corrupted the code. It is the trash can of the multiverse. An acid pit for code and Sans was smack bang in the middle of it.
The pain would have been horrendous as his code was stripped away but rather then dying The program stepped it. Bit by bit it replaced the Sans old code with new code, code outside acidic reach of The Bygone. However this bound the life of Sans to this space and made someone…new. Sans wasn’t an appropriate name anymore so they renamed this stranded monster.That name was R00ts.
R00ts is a spin on the root directory. A coding directory used in Unix or Unix like systems. It is the top-most directory in the hierarchy. If you wanna know more search it up I suppose. Back to the story!
R00ts is new. They have little to no recollection of their past life and their is personality blank. It’s a fresh start. The Program teaches R00ts everything it could possible need to know and allowed them to learn and grow within the void.
The program didn’t expect R00ts to every try and leave but they aren’t just a program, they are still a monster. They have a sense freewill and a would eventually grow bored of the space they kept in. Of course the void and Program would try and stop that make it difficult but not impossible.
This is another thing that can very. The years they are trapped. With the R00ts a played he was in the void for 661 before he finally got out. The longer they are kept they much more mature or well versed in knowledge they would have.
I’m going to stop this here and continued this in another post. I could go on for days but I will try and work on these as quick as I can. I’ll try keep a theme to them so look foward to others on his powers and the how whole, ‘half-dead I can touch literally death and be okai’ deal. alright?
