Hey dummy, heard you liked two Once-lers existing at the same time somehow. If you only care for the screaming, not the sound effects I spent too much time picking out, go here.

animatics on youtube with this song so amazing, I don't think I ever going get tired of watch them
In the big 2026 still thinking about what if we got biggering instead of how bad can I be… illumination you cowards
I mean, someone had to mass produce all those barbie clothes.
what were ideas you considered in your Lorax rewrite you considered but scrapped and why?
Talked about Once-ler's physical design here, but to add onto that, his muscular upper body was an afterthought. He had to be skinny because of his past, but when fighting for his food became a part of it, I figured someone like him should have some muscle development. I entertained Lorax' 1970s design for a whole minute, but I think it looks unsightly and the book is doing the character no favour by describing him as "mossy". I wanted him to be more like an anthropomorphic animal, less like a furry short man who somehow still looks like he's balding. Once-ler and Lorax' relationship was slightly different before. In that comic sketch where Lorax talks about falling into Once-ler's machinery, Once-ler's original response insinuated he hoped he would die. It was probably only a few days later I decided on that orange pillow backstory, and since it makes no sense for Once-ler to want him dead if he's a reminder of better times, I changed the dialogue. One sketch shows an adult Once-ler wearing the cowboy hat and onesie he did as a teenager, because I thought about prolonging his journey to success. But, I needed The Lorax to meet him when still young, because that'll make him feel more responsible and act more lenient towards him. It's harder to fight someone when you see "the child" in their eyes. The book's Lorax is just way too lax in how he approaches Once-ler, and there's no reason given for it. It makes him look like an inherently incompetent guardian. A plot detail I altered is the moment Once-ler contacts his supposedly many family members. He still goes through the trouble of looking up people who happen to share his last name, but to exploit them for cheap labour until hitting them with the classic "I discovered we're not related, you're not getting a nepotism bonus". There's no room for more Roaxls in my story, not without asking the question where they came from and where they were when it truly mattered; when Once-ler and his parents were starving. If I start arguing they're indeed related to him, I'd just insert more drama into a story that's simply not about reconnecting with lost family members. This is all I can think of.
Because of you, I am STILL thinking of the Onceler in the year 2026. You had no right making such a good animatic FUCK YOU
Hold on, problem platypus, that's not fair, I uploaded that video almost 2 years ago and am not exactly bombarding the web with fresh content. At the moment.
I keep making cringe entertainment to cope with the fact I'm not sharing a reality with a Lorax movie that's a 1970s progressive rock musical. Seuss himself is the inspiration for this song. He really liked making up words, and there hasn't been an adaptation of his work that tried to give a reason for it, so far I know, but you have to ask yourself: Why would someone who otherwise speaks normal English suddenly utter terms like "figgering" and "biggering". Biggering's Once-ler was born in a slum and mostly mute during his childhood, it makes narrative sense he mispronounces or makes up words, though his language in the song is severe compared to how he goes about it in the story. The melody was built using a piece from the "Biggering" demo song that the 2012 Lorax movie killed, but you can't hear it, so I could've not admitted to it.
