Werewolf Iris Chymara (2024)

With Halloween getting closer, I felt it would only be proper to present a follow-up of my previous image -- Iris Chymara in her proper Werewolf form.

She is certainly more intimidating in this state, with greatly boosted strength and speed. Iris has managed enough self-control to typically change to this form at will, though the nature of the form makes her easier to anger and harder to calm down.

When the moon is full, the transformation is involuntary, so Iris has to struggle with keeping her temper and feral tendencies in check during that time. But the form is most often achieved through raw anger, and as a Werewolf this rage can be dangerous; Iris can lose control of herself, and she may begin to attack anyone she sees in a blind rage! And when she changes back, she may not even remember what happened during that time.

Needless to say, it's one frequent reason why Iris can't seem to keep a good romantic relationship. But when it comes to wrangling Creations, she's tough to take down.

Year of the Dragon?

Wait… That's not a Dragon! That's a Drabbit!

This is a character introduced in Day 19.1 of The Blocks by @malamiteltd. This is actually an alternate form of a character I drew last year for the Year of the Rabbit. It's almost poetic that a dragon-like form of the character got introduced in time for the Year of the Dragon. And it just seemed like the natural thing to draw for this year's first drawing.

Iris Chymara (2024)

So this image was taking a while to put together. I wasn't fully happy with how things were going, so I ended up leaving it looking pretty rough. But it was meant to be something for Halloween, and she is a Werewolf after all.

Iris Chymara, originating from "The Utopian Legend" and one of my favorite female OC's. She's sporting a look that was more or less intended for when/if she were introduced to The Blocks.

In this instance she would've originated from a different universe, where Creations have been deemed too dangerous to let live, and she's tasked with hunting them all down. She's pure Werewolf with no Ko Tengu enchantment, but she has been granted elemental power based on her form -- she can summon ice in this form, and in her Werewolf state she can summon fire (those blue highlights would change to red during the transformation).

Iris has been around for a while, and she stands out in my mind for her unrefined, brash attitude offsetting her attractive appearance. Only relatively recently she has been identified as bisexual -- but even so, as much as she tries, she still finds it hard to keep a date with her violent and sometimes scary tendencies.

It's Copper! He's a little shorter than usual in this one. I'm trying to shake myself out of a mild slump and experiment a tiny bit.

Pulling an instance from The Blocks, he's managed to power a light bulb using only his fingers. It's quite a surprise to him.
