Why are all of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales so grim and depressing and sad. 

Had the animated dvd thing growing up and it would always leave me with a lump in my stomach and like an impending sense of doom? But then the opening sequence makes it seem so happy and magical and I was tricked into watching 5 episodes with 5 different metaphors for death and loneliness. 

It will make me turn to the bottle, so here’s a drinking game: 

Take a shot every time a child passes away, someone wants to unalive themselves or you feel so sorry for an inanimate object that you start to cry.

Hella proud of my band from last night. We played with Knuckle Puck, Citizen, Hunny and Oso Oso and it was everything we could've asked for. We are the only "local band" to have been able to play with them this entire tour as well, and that is absolutely mindboggling to me. The crowd was fun, we didn't suck, and it was just a hella positive evening.

the fact that going through the bottleneck is the only feasible way to summit k2 says a lot about how dangerous k2 is. bc how is a near vertical climb directly underneath unstable avalanche prone blocks of glacial ice the easiest way to get there
