Fun little comparison between the smol cinnamon colored black bear and the Big Boi black bear we've got hanging around right now. Big Boi's probably the biggest bear I've seen up here in awhile. And it's spring now, so I can't imagine how big he's going to get by fall.

There’s also a bear hanging around that’s twice as big as the little brown one. This is what he did to our power pole when he was investigating the game camera there.

If not friend, why friend shaped?

All of this was in piles on the floor of the shed, and has been for years, which made half the shed basically unusable, and you couldn’t even get at most of the stuff. So I spent the day cleaning it all out, built a rack for the kayaks, restacked the firewood (which is all behind me in this photo, where as before it also went along the back wall to the right), and hung a tool rack before bringing everything else back in.

The kayak rack was made entirely on vibes. I measured nothing. But it works perfectly! :D It holds them a couple inches off the floor to protect the tips, and I cut up an old carpet square to make padding for the rests so the sides of the kayaks won’t get scratched. The rafters of the shed help hold everything in place too.

And now the shed has so much more room! (And a new latch that won’t trap people inside… >.>)

Also every muscle in my body hates me. Worth it though.

The interdimensional spider at my cabin has a new friend. Or enemy. Hard to say.
