Question time! ^_^ How would Alan react if all the ava/avm sticks said a swear word? And if you would like you could add the new characters in AvA 6 Season 2 ^_^

Hmm… (long post)

Red - Alan knows him swearing means he’s scared or angry. He would try to help Red feel better.

Orange - Alan knows Orange swearing means he’s stressed. He tries to give him a break and get him something to eat.

Yellow - Alan is surprised when Yellow swears. Guesses it means he’s tired or nervous. Helps Yellow feel better, since he gets embarrassed when he swears.

Green - Also doesn’t expect Green to swear, since Green doesn’t like swearing and also gets embarrassed. Alan tells him it’s ok.

Blue - Alan would be surprised if Blue swore out loud since he never hears him do it. He’d be worried and ask if something was wrong. But Blue swears like a sailor in his head.

Purple - Alan figured out that Purple only swears when he’s hurt, so he’d be worried and try to help him feel better.

King - Alan would figure out King only swears when really stressed out, so he’d try to help him calm down and take a break.

Dark - Alan doesn’t hear Dark swear much unless he’s scared or angry. Alan is nervous if Reconfigured Dark swears since he wouldn’t know where he learned it.

Chosen - Alan’s never heard Chosen swear and if he did he’d be worried.

Vic - Alan would feel guilty when Vic swears because the symbols still appear over his head like they did when Vic was first created. Alan would want to say something but wouldn’t know if it’d help.

Moon (Hangman) - He doesn’t talk but he does cross his arms, clench his fists or stomp around the desktop when he’s mad. Alan either gives him space or tries to cheer him up when he’s angry.

Ghost (Leader of mercenaries)- If he swore Alan wouldn’t care much, since him swearing doesn’t seem to be tied to whether or not he’s angry.

Basalt (cave painting Stick) - Alan would be very concerned if Basalt swore because it’d mean he was in Rage form, or about to transform into it.

Pixel - Alan would also be concerned if Pixel swore since it’d mean he was about to start destroying things.

Exit - Makes various sound effects when swearing. Alan doesn’t know how to react except leave him alone or try to calm him down.

The Crimson Gala Chapter 2: The Hunt

Thought I would post little previews of the chapters on tumblr, you’ll have to continue to AO3 to finish reading them.

“It’ll be our little secret. Now why don’t you come with me, hmm?” Willow managed to nod, Wilson taking her out of the room, through halls and up a flight of stairs. Leading her further, until they arrived at some kind of study room. A fireplace caught her attention, the soothing crackle of the flames bringing her at least a little comfort. That didn’t last long however as she was brought to stop at a balcony, the other head vampires already waiting.

“I almost started without you Higgsbury.”

“I only took a moment Maxwell. You’ll get your fill, don’t be impatient.” The woman from the beginning of the night was there. They glanced across the balcony, smiling at Willow.

“Did you enjoy the food and such? Sorry I had to leave our little conversation before. The first runner is a bit of an event at the gala~” A lump was forming in Willow’s throat as the images flashed through her mind again, the screaming… She looked out to the lawn beneath the balcony, hoping to distract herself.

“I see she didn’t run then Higgsbury.”

“No no, she’s a brave little thing.” Claws appeared in her face causing her to flinch, knuckles going white from gripping the railing of the balcony so tightly.

Wilson brushed stray hairs from her face, lightly grazing her forehead with his nails. Brave little thing… perhaps not as much as he though, although she did try to assault him. If that wasn’t brave he wasn’t sure what would be. He’d see how far he could push her. “Aren’t you Willow?” Silence. Maxwell scoffed.

“I better get this hunt started.” Large black, leathery wings emerged from underneath the man’s cloak, causing Willow to jump and stare. Where the hell was he hiding those?! “When you’re ready Charlie.” The younger woman sneered, a grin still on her face.

“Of course Maxy.” Wings of her own emerged as she turned to face a gathering of people (although they weren’t really people, they were monsters, weren’t they?). “Let the hunt begin!” The fire starter had to shield her eyes as both parties beat their wings. As if a switch had been flipped, multiple bodies took to the sky, all manor of screeching and snarling echoing across the courtyard. First blood was drawn, a shrill scream piercing the night. It was like watching a nightmare from afar, shapes writing and sounds assaulting her ears. Willow pushed against the railing, against the body behind her, moving into the study. Her breaths were shallow, tears in her eyes. There was still screaming. She wanted it to stop.

The fireplace called to her, drawing her to kneel in front of it. She focused on the popping of the wood, the roaring of the flames. That’s all that mattered. Maybe she could let the fire take her… escape this place… Willow outstretched her hand, wincing at the heat of the flames. She couldn’t back away now. A hand grabbed her wrist, pulling it out of the fire’s reach. Her eyes met yellow ones, stern and cold.

Let half ender Orange sleep jfc

The CG are less inclined to make as much noise when Half Ender Orange is around. He either goes into rage mode or takes all Green’s music stuff and teleports away with it.

They still slip up and wake him up sometimes. More than once they’ve had to deal with Orange teleporting into the middle of band practice while he does an Enderman shriek.

how's the crimson gala going?

To be honest I’ve not touched it for a while.

I’m definitely writing it still though! It’s been in my mind for ages now, I just don’t have time.

My mood is all over the place and I’m struggling with real life at the moment.

I just moved out of home, got a job to pay for said place and all my university assessments are one after the other. Once uni calms down I’ll have more time for writing.

So hang on tight for me. 🥰

I’m so glad people are still interested, it honestly makes me smile so much. I’m sorry it’s taking so long.
