The Collection (2012)
Plot
Arkin from the previous movie can not catch a break. He does manage to escape the serial killer known as "the Collector" only to then immediatly be forced to return to his lair to rescue a young woman who has fallen victim to him. Bummer!
Opinion
It is as silly if not sillier than the first movie which i consider a positive. They just can't really decide on what they want their serial killer to be like so he's a bit of everything: he builds traps, he kidnaps, he does human taxidermy, but he also tortures people randomly, but he can also knife fight and do martial arts, he's also turning human victims into drug fueld zombies, but he also keeps a human victim as some sort of slave, he has a bunch of aggressive dogs, but he also uses guns, he's mentally disturbed and also 100% calculated. He makes zero sense as a character and that makes him funnier to me in this very bad movie. He's just whatever he needs to be. Him being such an inconsistent villain allows for a lot of very elaborate strange sets in this film which i somewhat enjoyed. Still a terrible movie, but a fun sequel watch if the first one made you laugh already!
