The warrens were charlatans, but the conjuring movies have me by the heart.
Just so we clear, this post isn’t about their looks! Its about feeding paranoia to vulnerable people and the alleged abuse.
I think that one disney post is right and the only real power i have aside from shouting on the internet against the disney monopoly is to support their competitors. I.e universal, paramount, warner bros etc
so here’s some of the movies that i will see in theaters come next year.
The Voyage of Doctor Doolittle (Universal), January 17 | Looks fun and it got RDJ in it who I love.
Sonic the Hedgehog (Paramount), February 14 | Aside from being a sonic fan i feel like i owe them at least 20 dollars for listening to fans and improving the design of Sonic.
Godzilla vs. Kong (Universal), March 13 | Gotta get me some of that kaiju action
Scooby Doo (Warner Bros.) May 15 | This movie looks genuinly good and while im not a huge fan of cgi animation i prefer it when its stylized
Wonder Woman 1984 (Warner Bros.) June 5 | I liked the last Wonder Woman movie so...
Morbius (Sony), July 31 | Not only do i feel like i should support Sony as they almost got out of Disney’s clutches but Venom was really good so i look forward to Morbius
Escape Room 2 (Sony), August 14 | The first escape room movie was brilliant
The Conjuring 3 (Warner Bros.), September 11 | Love me some conjuring! I wanna see my fave horror movie ship again :D
Halloween Kills (Universal), October 16 | The last one was fantastic and this one sort of concludes the story, i like the new Halloween timeline
These are the ones we know off of course. A part of me also wants to see the Bobs Burgers movie if only to support a 2D film and see bobs burgers on the big screen. I know its owned by disney now so im torn but the above are movies i will definitely support :D
I would pay good money to see a conjuring movie with young Ed and lorraine, where taissa plays lorraine.
By good money I mean 12,95!
Annabelle Comes Home aesthetic
I used to be overly critical, i used to be like Quentin Tarantino is the best and silly shows are dumb and things have to have a certain level of coherency.
People are too critical, the whole critic and art community has basically made it so people dont think things are good enough unless they are avant-garde
if its fun, its fun and if its fun its good.
thinking that is somehow untrue is what gives us cringe culture and “high class” critics that shit on Godzilla movies for having monster battles.
All fiction has value as it is of value to someone
I really hope they give the Ferryman a spinoff, best new demon. I also loved the tv thing altho i feel like it would be much harder to make a movie based on that.
I don’t want the Bride to get a spinoff because idk seems a bit boring. The monkey?
That fucking board game should get a spinoff whats up with the board game ? ?? ? ?? ?
Conjuringverse Ranked
The Conjuring 2
Annabelle Comes Home
Annabelle: Creation
The Conjuring
The Nun
Annabelle
Thats how I rank them I dont think any of them can top The Conjuring 2 but Annabelle Comes Home is a close second. I just loved how they explored the different cursed objects and how things were handled.
