Ahaha @ninja-go-to-therapy happy Monday. ^.^
Mind games, whump and suffering, and implied kidnapping, references to water torture, Koshiro, the Non Canon Damage Tree and everything implied there.
Branch where everyone was nabbed at once and Lloyd and Nya are only there to make the boys break faster.
What an unlucky day for my favorite Brothers. :)

Lloyd tried not to laugh as he thought about the fact that he now knew for sure that cloth made for a better gag than duct tape alone. The dimly lit room and the fact Nya was sleeping were just a few factors in that choice. Lloyd did not want to wake her up. It had taken hours to convince her to rest, especially with both of them gagged still. He didn’t think he could pull that off again any time soon if she woke up now.
He sat with his back to the wall, facing the door. Nya was asleep next to him. He was keeping watch, and waiting. He knew that eventually that door would open again, and when it did, he needed to be ready.
This would be easier if it hadn’t been days since they were all captured. He knew the others were here. Nya had seen them, briefly. She didn’t say much else. It would be easier if he had his medicine. He needed to be ready, which meant he needed to stay focused. Which was hard without his medicine. Which meant that if he didn’t focus on the door, he could miss his chance to beat the shit out of the creep who captured them.
Lloyd didn’t really remember the capture that well. He remembered waking up in this room with Nya mother-henning over him like he was ten again. Behind his back, he flexed his hands again, trying to stave off the pins and needles that were building again. He had been stupid. He had tried to copy what he saw off one tv show a year ago to get his hands in front, not knowing what kind of knot was used. It had tightened immensely, and now Lloyd was paying the price.
He looked at the door, trying to focus on just the door, only on the door.
He needed to be ready.

When Koshiro left the room, Kai knew he fucked up. Kai pulled against the chain holding him against the pole, pulling him backwards. His heart pounded in his chest.
“I don’t fear you hurting me.”
Kai wanted to slap himself for spitting the words out without thinking. His cheek stung as he thought of the words. Koshiro had certainly left a mark this time. The air in the room wasn’t warm enough to stave off a chill from his damp hair and the scant outfit he still had.
The chill from Koshiro’s own words cut deeper than the water treatment earlier.
“Fine.”
And he had just walked out of the room after that, leaving Kai alone. Was isolation what he was up to? It didn’t seem to be his style to leave him just like this. Usually he had just shoved Kai in a cage first.
Kai shuddered again at the thought of how normal that just sounded in his mind. Warm bed, with extra pillows, at the Monastery. The bunk beds at the Bounty, sharing a room with his brothers. Hot food. Hoodies. Chirping back at his followers. Social media in general.
He couldn’t afford to lose sight of the goal. Play the game, lower the guard, get the others, and get out.
Or get out, get help, get the others. If he had to. He knew it might come down to that. He didn’t want to linger on that thought too much. He couldn’t imagine getting far without them.
His eyes snapped to the door and he tensed his body as he heard footsteps—two sets? They didn’t have a matching pace. The door unlocked and Kai’s eyes went wide as he saw Koshiro dragging Lloyd into the room in a chokehold. Lloyd’s hands restrained, his wrists painfully bruised under the handcuffs he was wearing.
Kai didn’t fear getting hurt, but he certainly feared his brothers getting hurt because of him. The chill in his bones intensified and he felt dizzy at the thought.
His littlest brother was going to get hurt because of him.
Kai’s mouth was dry. “wait—!”
Koshiro didn’t ease up on his grip as he forced Lloyd to stand straight, only moving to instead grip Lloyd’s arm like a vice. He grinned wide at Kai, reaching to grab another chain to pull Lloyd’s arms over his head, drawing him up onto his toes.
Lloyd kicked at Koshiro, but unable to ground himself it did little more than swing himself around. Koshiro had turned his back on both of them, going to grab something that looked like a padded version of a baseball bat. Koshiro gave it a few swings, as if testing it if was right.
Kai swallowed, glancing at his brother, noting the gag in his mouth. Lloyd looked just as confused as Kai had been minutes again. “Don’t hurt him!” His voice cracked halfway through the short sentence, he felt his hands shaking.
Koshiro walked towards Lloyd, tapping the bat against Lloyd’s back, his eyes set on Kai with a cold fury. “I wouldn’t have to if you just learned, little stray.” He paused before grinning again. “However, I won’t hurt him if you agree to cooperate.”
It had to be a trick. Kai knew, he knew it couldn’t be that easy. He looked at their captor, trying to ignore the way Lloyd swung, trying to land some kind of hit on Koshiro. Kai swallowed again, nodding. He knew Koshiro wanted him silent. He could be silent. Just for a little bit. He wasn’t Jay, after all.
He hadn’t heard anything from Jay since the last time he screamed he was worried about—
Koshiro walked around behind the pole Kai was tethered to, adjusting the chain to give him more space he could walk around. “Stand up and walk forward, stray. Walk towards your little friend. You’ll know when to stop.”
Kai didn’t dare look back, following the order to a‘t’. When he felt the chain—it’s a chain not a leash—he stopped, just a few feet from Lloyd. He stood statue still, looking over Lloyd. He didn’t seem hurt, but Kai could tell he wasn’t sleeping, Lloyd always had the worst dark circles out of the team.
Koshiro picked up the bat again, walking to stand next to Kai, handing it to him. “Hit him.”
Kai nearly dropped the bat in shock. He couldn’t breathe for a second. He couldn’t just hit Lloyd with this.
Lloyd kicked out at Kai, brows furrowed together like he wanted to say something.
“One…two…” Kai felt Koshiro’s burning gaze, he felt Koshiro’s hand moving to take the bat back.
Kai watched as Lloyd swung backwards viciously, hearing the choked shout through the gag mixing with the muffled roar in his ears.
“Again. Until I say stop.” The words were cerulean ice in Kai’s mind. He swallowed, hitting his brother again. Tears were spilling faster than they could well up in their eyes.
With the way Lloyd swung around with each hit, it wasn’t a shock when he screamed and tipped his head back, trying to gasp for breath that wasn’t coming from a direct hit to his diaphragm.
One more, Kai silently begged. Just one more, Lloyd can’t keep taking these. Kai watched the way bruises were already starting to blossom over his brother.
“Stop.” When the order finally came, Kai dropped, the weapon rolling away from him and towards Koshiro. Kai’s hands braced him against the cement as he sobbed, the cries muffling Lloyd’s still gasping breaths.
He had done that. He had beaten his brother. Koshiro’s footsteps were walking away before coming back. The bat was gone. A hand was on his shoulder. “Good boy.” The voice was quiet, like a winter wind.
A loud crack rang through the room and Lloyd screamed in pain.
Kai stayed down, head drooped forward. He counted the tears that fell.
He couldn’t save his littlest brother after all. He wasn’t good enough.
