It’s a very good fandom tho
what if in a world where we are all doomed the ashes that settle are the elixir we need to bloom?
I Can and I Will - Searows
If you woke up one morning as a literal dog, would you consider that a good thing?
That is such a hard question because in theory: YES. That is the dream ✨
Realistically however... I have concerns. Can I communicate reliability to my loved ones that it is me? I think I could probably manage that. I would then be dependent on my friends and family though. Am I just a dog forever? I can't take myself on walks. Does someone have to pick up my poop? I like being independent, I am currently very financially secure but a dog can't work -- which is part of the appeal in theory. However. We do live under capitalism. Someone has to buy me my slop. So uhhh...
As much as it breaks my heart to say... I would certainly make the most of it and have a lot of great experiences but... unless I can shift back and forth between human and dog (in which case we are going back to the YES)...
No.
I would not consider waking up as a dog tomorrow a good thing 🥲
...
I would absolutely love being my friendos' emotional support dog. But not full time. Dogs can't write fanfic either. I'd be so bored so quickly...
been having some sisyphus kinda days
remember how we used to believe in fairy tales? how a happy ever after where love is not just guaranteed but wins in every ending? how the heroes would triumph and the villains would perish?
it turns out the reality is all gore isn't it? the heroes still die despite their best efforts and the villains get to walk with blood-stained hands. and there is no such thing as a happy ending
