Vintage Comic - The Devil's Triangle #04 (Gredown) (1977) (Australian)
Wonder if any unfortunate survived the triangle twice? Salazar lets them live, they stay away from the ocean for a while because something like that would stick with you, then they finally decide to go sailing again.
“What could happen?” they tell their friends.
“It’s not like I could end up in the exact same situation!”
A few days later, whilst they’re sleeping and have no idea where the boat has gone, they awake to the sounds of slaughter. They go on deck, thinking it’s just a dream, and Lesaro points them out to Salazar.
“EL CAPITAN! LOOK WHO IT IS!”
Salazar turns, recognizes them, and smiles as he begins to move towards them, skewering people left and right. The second time visitor holds their ground, because you can’t get hurt in a dream.
Salazar gets very close to their face, curious as to why they seem so calm.
“So amigo, did you tell the tale?”
And they boop him on the nose, because hell it’s a dream. The captain has no idea what to do with them at this point, and they both just stare at eachother.
Salazar starts laughing, patting them on the shoulder. “I like this one. You are allowed to leave again.”
