currently watching the devils crown (1978) and i have so many thoughts but the main one is that i can’t help but kinda like john solely based on how cunty his actor plays him. like did he kill his teenage nephew ? yeah. but him walking into arthur’s cell before he does so and going “did i wake you? no :)) you can’t tell day from night :))” after blinding him is kinda frying me what’s his problem
