As a doorman enthusiast I am extremely obsessed with the idea of khan and nori seeing tessa and going “its free daughter” and I get wibbly if I think about it too much

Same... I love when.. family...

But I do love the idea of them seeing post ep 8 as a second shot at life together- trying to fawn over Uzi (she is not adjusting well), and attempt to be a family again. Uzi, who is freaked out by this whole concept of parental affection- has every right to be mad at them (Nori has the excuse of trying to keep an eldritch monster at bay).

Tessa, shows up a wee pathetic at first, adjusting to her new life. She has lots of time spent with Uzi starting off, bonding with Nori in body rehab, and was needing a place to stay. So while pining for any good parental figures herself (the bar is low), The Doorman parents swept her up, already in full force of "I need to be a good parent."

May i ask what khan and nori are up too. you mention khan before but i can't remember the post doing so

Khan’s got a lot on his hands: as pseudo leader, he’s taking charge of rebuilding the bunker after the destruction from the events in ep8. He recruits a neurotic micromanager to assist him- J. he’s chilled tf out, feeling like he has a second chance w his family -whether deserved or not- he’s rolling off the high that everyone’s alive, and perhaps he can be a better father.

Nori’s just getting her body back, getting used to operating a full drone body again. Tessa and her bond during this time together in rehabilitation.
