BOOK OF THE MONTH CHALLENGE: FEBRUARY
February's pull was The Everlasting by Alix E Harrow and I'm a little bit obsessed with this. Doomed time loop, my beloved. Dying in your lovers arms, my beloved. Dying in your lovers arms over and over and over and over and—.
When Una's first chapter came around, I was thinking wow this isn't as enjoyable as Owen's point of view, but I was Wrong. She is so FASCINATING. She's doomed from the start. She goes on anyway. She's full of guilt and just wants to die, but Not Like That. Sex scenes aren't usually my thing, but the character insights in these are superb.
Every single character is well rounded and fleshed out and has their own story, even the villains. But who is a villain, really? Who gets to decide?
