#chesschats #the art chronicles #the engineering chronicles #<- making them as surprise souvenirs for a trip my friends are going on 😭 idk why i volunteered to do this #the person leading this trip was like leigh i need souvenir ideas you get to be the only person in on this and i gave him like five #ideas on top of his three and sadly he latched onto this one #+ two others lol he is also doing stuff for souvenirs to be clear #i lowkey stopped caring after some of them and you can tell but. oh well this is Not a good time for this i got back from visiting my dad #and had to dive into the bears the next day bc after that next day i had to go on vacation w my family #so rushed out five bears that day and was going to call it tbh bc there are seven of us but im part of that so really only needed six but #two of the ppl on the trip are a married couple living together so i was like well it would probably be fine to just give them one they #likely wouldn’t want to have to keep track of two in the same house anyway but my grandma convinced me to do one for myself and one for #each of the couple too so had to make two more bears yesterday #so will try to paint them all wednesday night after im back from vacation (would paint them here but they need several days to dry and #i touched up a couple of the existing ones yesterday too so can’t paint them rn either) and cross my fingers and pray that when i uv resin #them all thursday they’ll be dry enough not to smear 🤞 <- and i need to do that on thursday bc leaving for trip w friends Friday at like #5:30am and they’re a surprise so can’t work on them there #AND looking like theatre club will also have to meet thursday (probably for long time) and also my new roommate is moving in that day this #is stressing me out #also need to find time in btwn all this to make post for theatre club for campus wide pre-semester club event & meet the eboard post #bc i am socmed manager #and do my laundry #and register for this graduate class that i am Still Not Registered For bc im waiting on signatures to give me permission since im not #actually a grad student yet #and idk if i’ll have any signal on friends trip!! so rlly need these signatures like now!!

just had the most harrowing parking experience of my life

#^ girl who doesn’t have many parking experiences at all really #chesschats #the engineering chronicles #got my parking permit a few days ago and tried to get into the lot and it wouldn’t let me in so eventually i back out like ??? try to find #different lot that students use it turns out it’s currently undergoing construction ?!?! so im circling around and eventually get back to #the first spot some other car appears to be having the same issues as me so it’s not a permit issue like i thought… eventually found a #different entrance to the same lot and thankfully that one let me in 😭 so glad i left early for first day back at work

#whatever. it’s in god’s hands now #or my professor’s #chesschats #the engineering chronicles #im genuinely so. urghrhthf bc it wasn’t even a hard exam or at least it 100% could have gone much better but i am just. not doing well at #the moment at all lmao. im exhausted and im anxious and i have no time and i am very much sliding back down the slope of bad habits i #thought i left behind like two years ago and i can’t focus and all of this started happening weeks ago and then Everything going on this #week has exacerbated it even more and it. did not bode well for the exam i was barely even able to copy down equations for my cheat sheet #let alone read and actually retain any conceptual knowledge. im just :/#and a really fair amount of it was conceptual! i could have gotten so many easy points! but i just can’t do anything like this
