For the OC ask game, do you mind answering a question for The Engineering Team?
Actually, my question isn’t on the list, but the comfort item question had me wondering - do the Engineering Students have any superstitions? Do any of them have pre-match rituals or things they keep for luck? 🏀
That's okay, you're absolutely allowed to ask a question about the engineering students ;)
They’re not an overly superstitious bunch except for Altaeus who keeps a river pebble from his hometown in a pocket and rubs it for good luck when he gets nervous. When he mislays his lucky stone it’s always a big drama until he finds it again.
As for pre-match rituals, it’s important for them that Orion, as the team leader, will give them their pep talk going over the game’s strategies and recaps what they trained for. And finally (this one is silly and nobody knows exactly where it originated) it’s considered lucky to pat Gae’s derrière before getting onto the clawball ground, since Gae is the last one in line to enter the ground. Since he’s also the fastest of the bunch, it’s supposed to give them all extra speed... please don’t ask XD
