Hello once again adventurers. Once again, your dear friend (though I suppose ‘friend’ may be a stretch at this point, but I digress) Celeste the Bard brings you a list of songs to add some inspiration, entertainment, and – dare I say it – insight into your travels and tribulations. As always, these songs are for your enjoyment and perusal. If you wish to ignore the words that follow then I do hope that you enjoy the music at the very least. For the rest… well, I believe the following passage speaks well for itself.
Ruelle – This is The Hunt A song about a group of adventurers banded together to hunt down evil, for whatever reason, in whatever form it happens to take on. A warning to those who dare to draw their eye. Dramatic, yes, but fitting in its own way. Logic & Rag’n’bone Man – Broken People The struggle between aiding one’s self and helping others is always a tough one to overcome. It is a battle of hope, greed, and willpower. Ultimately, it is a battle that only ends when a person – rather a hero – stops fighting it. Will you rise above the struggle and become something more than yourself, or will you burn out and let the chances of heroism tugging at edge of your feet fall? Stone Sour – Song #3 Bernard “Bernie” Heavyfist Oh dearest Bernard, your enormous heart and vast loyalty takes even my breath away. *Lacuna Coil – Ultima Ratio A certain fire starter has caused quite a bit of chaos across multiple planes as of late. Adelita’s Way – Notorious Alaric Silverkin I believe this one is rather self-explanatory. Halestorm – I Am The Fire Eladria Thornwood She has undergone a harrowing experience which created an inner struggle that the Cleric of Silavnus had never thought in her worst nightmares she would ever experience. Self-doubt is a plague that even the most valiant of heroes finds difficult to overcome. And yet this young woman has done just that; coming out the other end of one of her greatest battles stronger, more confident, and dedicated to her duties than ever before. MGK, X Ambassadors, Bebe Rexha – Home Crew of the Deliverance To a group of misfits and ex-slaves the idea of having a ‘home’ is one that never really occurred to them until it literally picked them up and took them in. Now they know what home is. It’s an ever moving ship that leads them to new destinations and new experiences. Its freedom from the chains that once bound them to that very ship. It’s the beautiful blonde captain who gave them that freedom and continues to ensure that they can keep it that way. It’s the new lost souls that they bring into their family with open hearts and minds. It’s being ready to fight to keep these people, their home with everything that they have. B.O.B. ft. Taylor Swift – Both of Us Marcus Since the death of Thomas Ripley the King of Flowers, Marcus, has taken it upon himself to care for the traveling group of artists and vagabonds. They are his entire world and one day he hopes to make a good enough one for them that they won’t have to worry about anything every again. Paramore – Monster Nina Visoren I believe that the story behind this one is not truly mine to tell. I should be alright in saying that it is about the relationship between Nina and her brother. Demi Lovato – Confident In many way this song is a representation for quite a few people that you have grown to know in the last few months. At this moment in time and only thinking of those you have seen recently, I believe that this song best fits with Vivienne, Tanith, Crea Mortolle, and Eve and Ezekiel. Heather Dale – Mordred’s Lullaby Foreshadowing. You’re welcome. Sam Lee & Daniel Pemberton – The Devil and The Huntsman Oberon Isildyn Oh the tangled webs people weave. Clean Bandit ft. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie – Rockabye Tamora Isildyn nee Silme A mother’s love for her children is one of their greatest strengths. The willingness to do whatever is necessary to ensure their children’s lives are better than their own is a thing of beauty that can never be replicated. Skillet – Not Gonna Die Thand, The Party, Citizens of Cresenhold With the darkness that has taken hold of the once great elven city of Cresenhold threatening to spread over the entirety of Aduil Edhellen people have begun to gather, to reflect, to plan. Should they fight? Or should they flee? The decision seems clear as the people of the city start to prepare, readying to take back their home. All the while they look for a leader, a guiding light to steady their nerves and give them direction.
