SHIELD Culture Headcanon!
Every city has its own weirdness, some of which is just the nature of living IN a major city like NYC or LA.And SHIELD agents are supposed to be observant. The problem came in when SHIELD realized they had no mechanism for sorting through that many vague, circumstantial reports without any other type of official observation.
So they started a “suggestion box”. If any one issue reaches critical mass, an agent would get officially assigned to look into it.
Unfortunately, the system still has some bugs. The F train has been investigated 15 times in the last 20 years.
"Local Attraction" Pilot
"No, no Brooklyn's in your radius, it's pretty close actually."
I don't know whether this is satire or a documentary but it's brilliant.
The song of the f train
The people are weary. The end if another weekend. Not too late but those that had busy days are tired. Nobody talks, but the silence is comfortable instead of the usual strained. We just all want to get home. Even the clacks of the tracks sound slightly muted. Two couples lean on each other , spanning generation and ethnicity, they don't see how they mirror each other. A hundred different lives and paths, intersecting and integrating minutely. All to be forgotten when we lie in our beds, to end the weekend, to rise and sing once again the song of the f train
What a mess!
Working on the weekends for the first time leads to a stressful ordeal when none of the trains I can find are going where I need them to go. Thankfully The r train was my saving grace.
