Summer theatre cycle is back!
Last week I saw La Dama Boba (The foolish lady) by Lope de Vega. I liked it, not my type of play but it was enjoyable and it was a good company and a good representation.
Today I saw Las Troyanas (The Troyan Women). It was 50/50, since the acting itself was rather good and the main actress was really good, a well-known one in our country, Isabel Ordaz, but the representation included modern elements (not against that, but in this occassion they weren't well integrated like in The foolish lady, or one of the Macbeth plays I've seen) including a few background AI videos which were definitely the worst part or some songs that completely pulled you out of the play. Which is a pity because otherwise I thought it was rather good, but for now I prefer the first version I saw of The Troyan Women.
Next week Antigona, second time viewing and a new company aswell!
