Tommy hit the call button next to Buck’s name and he answered almost immediately. “You are absolutely ridiculous, you know that right?” Laughter came from the other side of the phone. He heard slight rustling in the background, he knows that he is on shift right now so he’s probably moving out of earshot from all their friends

“Hey, I’m just trying to help a friend out! And if that means I have to spend a whole weekend telling people how amazing and cool you are, then it’s a risk I’m willing to take,” He could hear the smile in his voice.

“Most friends help each other move or pick them up from the airport.” He commented as he moved from his kitchen to the living room, throwing himself down to sprawl over his couch.

“Airport pick ups are more Eddie’s thing. Need a fake boyfriend? I’m your guy.” Tommy chewed on his lip for a moment. It was foolish to do this, to pretend to be in love with his friends. Except it wasn’t pretend for him, not anymore. He could feel himself falling more and more in love with him every single day. And the thought of having to maybe kiss Buck made Tommy’s skin itch.

“It’s in three weeks in Fort Lauderdale, I’ll send you the details now. We can talk more about the hotel and flights after your shift. I’ll meet you at the usual coffee place after you’re done?" There was silence for a moment. “It’s a date.”
