Queenie what is your fucking problem
Queen Grumble is not only notorious for her inherent instinct to chase down mortal beings, but she, along with the rest of the Nest colony- actually just despises anything that isn't part of her entity species.
Funnily enough, the type of entity species Queenie hates the most are actually nodes. Since they typically just dart right through the mines as quickly and loudly as possible, they threaten the structural integrity of the tunnels they travel through. All node entities have been banned from entering the Nest out of fear they'd accidentally cause a collapse in any of the tunnels.
..so you could say Screech dragging his best friend- who happens to be a node entity- wasn't the brightest choice on his part.
BOOM
gay blast!! So many queer characters I just cannot draw them all Stalk and Pursuit belong to @argothedraggy :]
Anyway it's June you know what that means
Rush and Ambush get bored one day and go to room A-600 where they discover A-60's real form- an abomination made from the amalgamation of corpses in the Rooms.
It's... a lot of take in.

This thing has 3 forms. The sun. The moon. The star.
It’s an entity that is a physical manifestation made from the excess powers of all 3 architects. Only spawns on VERY rare occasions. But whenever it does… better pray it’s either the Moon or the Star.
Sun manifestation- a blood supermoon on a warmer night.
Moon manifestation- A blue supermoon on an especially calm, chilly night.
Star manifestation- It is simply a supermoon, on a cool, entirely cloudless night.
It’s the only entity that doesn’t affect mortals. Instead, it has the power to directly affect other entities.
To be affected by the Sun- attacked.
To be affected by the Moon- Gently touched.
To be affected by the Star- touched in any way.
And each form snuffs out the presence of the other 2 architects, rendering them completely useless for the night.
The Sun- All entities that interact with it become hostile, fearful, and defensive. They lose their sense of identity and become the equivalent to hostile, wild animals. They lose their ability to speak, and act on impulse.
The Moon- All entities that interact with it become benign and friendly and protective, no matter how hostile they originally were. They are also a lot nicer if you speak to them.
The Star- All entities that interact with it simply become more curious, and are interested in their surroundings. They actually feel more inclined to travel to the different areas for the night. Unfortunately, this can result in entities simply getting lost. Oops!
All affects wear off as soon as dawn arrives. Entities do not retain much after the affect wears off.
This manifestation itself has no clear goal, other than to interact with as many entities as it can during a manifestation.
The Sun form seldomly speaks. Instead, it seeks entities to attack.
The Moon form actually comforts and protects entities.
The Star form is the most talkative form- it likes to learn more about the entities and its surroundings.
Fun fact- Dread will chime whenever this entity is about to manifest.
You’ll KNOW when this entity has manifested. The hotel will briefly experience a blackout before all the lights turn on, reflecting the color of the manifestation.
Red- Sun
Blue- Moon
Yellow-Star
This entity does not seek out or have an interest with interacting with mortals. Even in the Sun phase, if it spots a mortal, it will simply leave it alone.. unless provoked. But if provoked, it will not kill the mortal.

Dropping my Nest headcanons/lore because I love these things a lot 😛
The Nest naming system is very peculiar. The colony has their own names given to them by the Queen, but then they will earn a nickname through the other colony members. So every Nest screech, giggle and grumble essentially have two names. The only Grumble that ever loses their original name is the Queen. She gets referred to as either "Queen" or "Mother"
Anyway, let's start off with our beloved Queen. She's the head honcho of the colony, of course. All Grumbles, giggles and screeches take her word as gospel and usually entirely trust in her decisions. She's highly respected as she's the current lifeblood of the colony and is able to do what nobody else can- simply keep the colony supplied with members. Queenie is also highly skilled when it comes to hunting and tracking intruders, managing to keep herself quiet during her pursuit. She's also a very loving mother and cares for each individual member of the colony. Since Queenie is an ascended grumble, she is the only one who is able to reproduce- and it's an entirely asexual process, of course. Ascended grumbles don't need mates or anything. Queen Grumble might inherently dislike everyone outside the Nest, but the easiest way to earn her respect is to simply not show any sign that you're afraid/intimidated by her. She will become more friendly if you barely react or simply throw her off upon the first encounter (Unless you're a node entity or a mortal. Then she will get angry.)
Also you pretty much only have one shot to gain her respect and if you blow it then she will be aggressive toward you regardless if you lose your fear or not.
All 5 Grumbles of the nest are all siblings. Queenie is not the original mother of the other 4, but she was the giggle chosen to be ascended as the replacement for the original Queen of the colony. Lost-Voice is the healer of colony, making sure all ailments and injuries get the attention they deserve. He is aided by screeches and maturing giggles to help tend to everyone in need. He tends to keep to themself when he's not patrolling or defending the Nest. They are very diligent and knowledgeable on what kind of herbs will be useful for what kind of grumble/giggle/ screech related ailments. Lost-Voice would rather spend their time assorting herbs rather than actually patrolling the tunnels, though. Despite being a healer, encountering Lost-Voice as an outsider will be anything but peaceful.
Large-Mouth is one of the Nest's main guardians, and she's kind of jealous of Queenie's role... But is also content with her own. She is definitely one of the most aggressive grumbles to ever have the displeasure of meeting. They are actually more hostile than Queenie is. Unlike Queenie, earning LM'S respect is like trying to send a rat to the moon with one of those homemade backyard rockets. She does not respect anyone who isn't a part of the colony and WILL maul you with no hesitation. Literally the only thing that can stop them from immediately killing you is whether Queenie wants you alive or not
Commander is the other main guardian of the nest. He also shares LM's aggression levels toward outsiders. Commander is usually the one bossing other screeches or maturing giggles around. He'll even boss the other Grumbles around because he makes sure that tasks actually get done. As you have probably gathered, he's very task-oriented and diligent with what he sets his mind on doing. Not only does Commander want something done, but he wants it done right!
And then there's Dirt-sifter. They really like to explore and dig out new tunnels for everyone else. I mean.. every grumble does that- they all work together to continually expand the nest.. but like yeah DS gets way too much enjoyment out of their job and it weirds the other Grumbles out. They are also surprisingly relaxed toward outsiders. You could probably negotiate your survival if you were to encounter them Though, your outcome depends on whether DS is hungry or not.
(Extra fun fact! Every grumble, giggle and screech who isn't explicitly the queen are actually biologically sexless! Only an ascended grumble has a biological sex which is female 😁🙏 that's why there's a slash through most of their genders because it's actually not biological thing but rather something they don't care being referred as.)
