There's a How to Dragon Your Train meme on twitter. This is the Ghan :>
The Ghan is an immense wyrm known for its long body and migrations. Rarely seen, it is most often spotted at either end of its migration path, where there is food and water, though it has never been seen feeding.
3 hours of our lovely and probably most famous train, the luxury Train, the Ghan travelling her way across Australia from bottom to top. The entire journey is 53 hours long.

One day I’ll ride you when I scrounge up the money because she’s bloody expensive.
The Ghan
I just watched the whole of The Ghan the other night. Three hours of purity, a 54 hour journey crunched down to the highlights.
Little places en route where you know the camera people went up ahead of the train and waited there for hours, just so the train could go by once and then you’d never go back to that little stretch of land in Australia, or stand by that bigt rock, or visit that bit of river, ever again.
And you could imagine sitting in those tiny, cramped little sleeper cabins for hours, going from Adelaide to Darwin, and eventually back again. Hours spent far away from your worries and woes.
If I could find a way of getting all three hours of that show on a USB, I’d buy it like a shot.
so...I got sent home from work today because I’m still too ill, so I looked up another documentary on Australia to watch in my convalescence, and came across one on BBC iPlayer called
‘The Ghan: Australia’s Greatest Train Journey’
and I thought: ‘Oh neat! Not super interested in trains as a rule but I’ve always wanted to travel on the Ghan, a documentary about the train might be interesting!’
and guys...it’s not a documentary...
it’s just the train ride

So anyhow, there is this train here in Australia called The Ghan which travels through the Outback. Anyhow today on tv they are broadcasting a 17 hour recording of nothing but the train travelling.
Yes, this is airing on actual tv.
