Our fourth entry comes in our What Songs Are These? series comes to us from Bay Area songsters Chonk! and the Ghost Fiddler. Back in 2010, they recorded a batch of holiday songs called Crazy For Christmas with their friends as The Sugar Cookie Decoration Club. Look out for more collaboration between these dudes and PNR, but in the meantime catch one of their shows up in Northern California. White Christmas was first introduced to the world in the movie Holiday Inn. However, the version sung by Bing Crosby is the best selling christmas single of all time. Irving Berlin wrote the song poolside in Phoenix, Arizona at the Biltmore Hotel. The original intro and opening bars are dropped on many versions including this one.
