It is well about time to process a real-life's worth of a year of emotional manipulation and abuse, anyway.

Because with the return of one bad apple at work and the upcoming advent of LB7 on NA, I had to return to dark places to write out everything.

And why not put an old friendship to rest through re-exploring the aftermath of the Extra Episode of the Lady Reines Case Files with my Grailed Pretender?

Because once the author finished Lostbelt 6.5 Traum, there were a lot of things to process.

Especially when it came to her first five-star and Grailed Ruler. So, there was lots of reflection, writing, and now here we are.

More canon changes, GO.

Was sitting on this chapter for at least 2-3 months too. Work rage delays a LOT of things.

Spoiler warning for all of Traum, and content warning for implied drug use too. Because this is about Sherlock Holmes, after all. You've been warned.

Summer 7 in FGO NA had the author think about a lot. Especially when one of the culprits is shown to be the author's Grailed Caster.

Emotional exploration, past memories of sensory overload and anxiety (coincidentally caused by author's own parents in a growing bit, actually), and many many days of work stress and writing on the trolley resulted in this. Almost 14k words for a Summer Event chapter.

(Let it be said that when bad apple 3 who was pregnant left, author with work team found a bad apple number 4 and it sucks. What is it with healthcare jobs finding the most devious of masked people who say they can do the work, only to slack on the details when others need it most? Fuck off.)

An honorable mention to @partialdignity. It's thanks to you beta-reading a lot of the scenes and initial ideas that helped me finish this. I love you friend.

Or when playing through the first third of Lostbelt 6.5: Traum, the author had to work off a lot of feelings.

Especially when thinking of how the Grailed would react to a Master being made a prisoner of war. So with work rage from over four months locked and loaded, pregnancy does not excuse incompetency that hurts patients, the author wrote. A LOT.

Or, thanks to some encouragement from @kunikida, @hizentadahiro, @partialdignity and the author’s special other, it was decided to give Passionlip a second chapter for more exploration of consequences and subsequent emotional resolution. Thankie everybody.

Also, this took 2-3 weeks of working on it on-off at home and on the trolley to and from work. So it may or may not be more visceral/uncomfortable/personal than usual chapters. With a not-so-subtle Fullmetal Alchemist reference thrown in at the ending with prosthetics.

Content warning for discussion of abuse, sexual assault, and trauma by the way. Because with Passionlip’s Masochistic Constitution skill, that was all gonna come into the picture, ugly mess included.

Forgot to post, but long story short? Grailing more old friends to match Mash at Level 90. And with Atsuko Tanaka, Medea’s VA, having passed away back at the end of August, Grailing her with Billy after finishing Sanson and Mata Hari felt like the right thing to do.

Now to write where I can…
