Holyland-Artifacts Demonstrate Beauty outside the Old City of Jerusalem

The Old City of Jerusalem holds many historical, religious sites and the land outside those walls is also eye-catching. There are some good Jewish sites demonstrate by Holyland-Artifacts present outside the Old City that tourist must visit during a trip to Holy land.

The Great Synagogue

The Great Synagogue is one of the best towers to look outside the old city of Jerusalem. This tower structure enclosed an ornate chamber and has a vivid collection of Jewish artifacts. With a front founded on the Second Temple and a stained-glass window representing the Jewish practice, this is a shul with sensation.

City of David

The City of David narrative started over 3,000 years ago, when King David left the Hebron city for Jerusalem. He wants to establish it as the united capital of the Israel tribes. On top of Mount Moriah, located next to the City of David, King Solomon, the son of King David constructed the first temple. The place of the Isaac binding becomes the most attractive sites in the world.

Mount of Olives

The Mount of Olives located to the east of Jerusalem witnesses many biblical events. This hill is also known as Mount Olivet as it was previously covered with olive trees. The Mount of Olives is a home of some major sites such as Church of All Nations (Basilica of the Agony), Church of St Mary Magdalene, Church of Dominus Flevit, Church of Pater Noster, Dome of the Ascension, the garden and grotto of Gethsemane and Tomb of Mary.

Yad Vashem

Yad Vashem remains in every Jew's heart since the Holocaust memorial and museum on the western edge of the city. The museum depicts the disastrous story of the genocide of six million Jews. The extensive place also holds several monument gardens, the excruciatingly big hill of the communities, and the leading research center for and documents of Holocaust scholarship of the world.

The Old City is the center of Jewish life, while outside of City several Jewish sites are worth a visit. You can incorporate Meah Shearim that depicts the story of Old World; Nachlaot, an old blue-collar-Kurdish-turned-hippie-haven that has the Machane Yehuda market, and the artsy Yemin Moshe zones.
