In celebration of Black History Month Lubaina will talk about her life as an artist and curator with a focus on her work Swallow hard: the Lancaster Dinner Service (2007), her response to Lancaster’s involvement in the slave trade and the legacy that has left in the city.
Professor Alan Rice Co-Director Institute for Black Atlantic Research (IBAR), University of Central Lancashire will also lead a Q&A with Lubaina.
