In Onslaught trailer, the three super-soldiers are described as " The human equivalent of a heat-seeking missile."

Theory :

They're like "David" but in 3 parts :

•Crybaby :

He cries when he kills civilians.

Similarity with "David" :

Empathy.

Indeed "David" could feel sadness/regrets.

Explanation : in The Guest's original screenplay, "David" had been chosen for "The Program" because his level of Empathy was high.

•The Butcher :

He massacres.

Similarity with David :

Killing.

"David" could slaughter without mercy and was the perfect weapon ( great speed, strenght and high intelligence) able to used any environment/situation to one's advantage.

•Cockroach :

Survived after was shot 48 times.

Similarity with "David":

Regeneration.

In The Guest, David was shot, wounded in the right knee, stabbed and dies. At the end of movie, apparently "David" is came back to life, disguised as firefighter and escapes.

In Onslaught trailer, about the three soldiers "Once they begin killing, they will not stop."

So, that means the same about "David" ?

Brief Analysis :

"David" kills and is a real weapon all on his own in The Guest.

"David" tried to find a solution rather than kill. So seems to want to resist The Program.

Also he doesn't seems to want to kill without stopping and regrets.

It all comes back to what Major Carver told Anna about "David" "programmed" and "couldn't stop himself even if he wanted to." Carver's opinion.

But is it true ?

Theory :

Either "David" can't stop killing cause "The Program"/ experiments (Nazis, KPG) or "the guy he used to be is still there and he's trying to resist his programming.
