John McCain just left a hospital stay (which was payed for by taxpayers) and took a flight to D.C. (which was also payed for by taxpayers) to make sure that the Republicans would have enough votes to push forward a bill to take away the healthcare of 22 million taxpayers. He voted to take away the healthcare of the people who pay for his. This should be his legacy.
Impulse decision of the week- let's learn to play this thing!
I was around the time of going into 3rd grade when my aunt gave me “Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters” as a gift. It was a bit above my reading level at the time, and I got frustrated with it and gave up. I never even ended up opening it again until about a year later, but when I did, I was instantly hooked. I read through the whole thing in like 3 days, immediately ordered the first and third books in the series, and I went to the library to check out a book about Greek myths. I became a little Greek Mythology geek, and I couldn’t get enough of it 😂😂😂 I loved the myths about voyages most, like Jason and the Argonauts or Odysseus. I had always dreamed of visiting the Mediterranean Sea where those voyages were to have taken place, but I dismissed it and I thought it would never happen, and I kinda just forgot about it. Today, I was in southern Spain on vacation with my Aunt and Sister and I waded out into the Mediterranean up to my knees, and it all came rushing back to me at once and I remembered how much I had wanted to visit here as a kid. I don’t even know what the point of this overly long post is, I just felt really connected to myself and happy in that moment. If you suffered through this whole thing, thanks, you now have some random useless trivia about some random persons life.
I just saw fireworks off the Eiffel Tower and walked around Paris at midnight. I haven’t slept in 36 hours and I’m exhausted but this is amazing. Happy Bastille day everyone
I was nervous as all hell this whole performance, hopefully it didn't show too much lol. So yeah, this is me doing a thing
