Announcement

So, I don’t know if you noticed, but I missed the last few weeks of streams. Things have been a nightmare around here, with me getting evicted, me getting engaged to my wonderful girlfriend and her family's subsequent aggressive lack of approval, two separate financial crises, and acquiring refills for my anxiety medication being nearly impossible being just a few of the things that have gone wrong. (For clarification, the getting engaged part was not something that went wrong. That part went delightfully right.)

BUT! Life is slowly getting back to a point of being manageable again, and I’m getting some of my New Year’s Resolutions under control. One of those is resuming biweekly streams for creating Dungeons and Dragons content.

My plan at present is to start streaming on Wednesday afternoons to work on my setting project --- working name “Geminar” --- and streaming on Friday evenings to work on the rules that I’m including in the Huntsman’s Codex of Adventuring Heroics and Villainy supplement that I’m working on.

The first setting stream will be tomorrow afternoon at 4pm mountain time. Unless people in the chat want to see something specifically, I’m going to be playing around with a new, unique page design to differentiate my setting guide and the Huntsman’s Codex aesthetically.

I hope to see many of you there!

Streaming Update:

Streaming is a little bit weird right now, because the wifi at my parents’ place is absolutely possessed by a malevolent spirit that dislikes me specifically, but I am having a BLAST with it and it is motivating me to actually put my proverbial pen to the paper. so we’re going to forge ahead with it and hope the wifi sorts itself.

This week will be the first week where I stream setting stuff in addition to mechanical homebrew. Here is the plan:

Tomorrow (Tuesday, December 15, 2020), I will be streaming setting building stuff, starting between five and six P.M. mountain standard time. My brother and I were chatting about my setting, and I have finally gotten a bead on how my settings’ cosmology is going to work, so we will be putting that to paper! I would love to have as many people as are interested come out and ask questions/share thoughts to help me get things written as clearly as possible and work through the internal logic of the system.

At the end of the week (Friday, December 18th, 2020) I will be doing my usual mechanic building stream, again with the goal of starting between five and six P.M. mountain standard time. Typically I am going to try to run a weekly poll to see what I’m going to homebrew, but the aforementioned brother and I accidentally stumbled into a really cool idea for an alternative Wild Magic system that would function more as a core game mechanic than as an afterthought of a single subclass, and I am super excited about it, so I am planning to make that this week’s stream.

Thank you all so much for the support you’ve shown me as I’ve been trying this something new. It’s been the catalyst for some very good changes in my life, and is starting to help me with building out a full weekly routine, which is something I’ve been trying to do for some time. It has seriously been a huge blessing.
