The Devils Train by the lab rats
First sorry for disappearing off the website I literally forgot to post despite spending multiple hours a day on here *finger guns*

The song ‘the Devil’s Train’ by the Labrats was made for Ford and Dipper. I’d leave it at that but I’m incapable of shutting up and haven’t posted in forever.

The song is literally about tripping on acid but what if acid a metaphor for Bill. I think that the narrator is Dipper talking about struggling with being possessed. But here the the grandfather (Ford) ran off and never got to meet Dipper. Ford and Dipper’s cannon bond was unlike anything Dipper had with anyone else, and was necessary for him to gain the strength needed to defeat Bill, but if that never happened and Mabel wasn’t there either would he have been as strong? In the song, Dipper gave into the voice by the tracks (Bill). While Bill was being erased in Stan’s mind, he offered him similar things to what the guy from the train tracks offered the singer.
When the narrator says he ignored all the warnings against what he was doing, it reminds me of all the warnings and laws that Stan ignored to bring back Ford. There could be something that Dipper wants (I imagine he would be older here), which is why he would be making deals with demons. I love finding similarities between Dipper and the gruncles and I think this song is perfect for that
also shoutout to Tumblr for being the one place I don’t feel guilty about talking about Gravity Falls for hours, I might make a part two to this, or just with other songs from my list.
