New AU descriptions--putting the three here together since I came up with them at basically the same time:

The Last Thread: There had always only been one thing that was capable of dealing with The Mimic--keeping it at bay, and making sure that it didn't swiftly cause chaos throughout all of the villages.

That had been MXES--a rather powerful hare. For nearly 100 years, The Mimic had been quiet, and the hare had been in a rather deep slumber. However...

Abruptly awakened after a successful escape, MXES must go after The Mimic--in which everyone around the hare claims shall be the last time, and that the hare won't be of use any longer once this task is completed.

Scattered Logs/Dr. Scraptrap AU 2: Gizmo... known by many as Dr. Scraptrap, has always been a rather... interesting rabbit and inventor--chaos has always emitted from him, but...

While working on his latest creation, the rabbit continuously makes little audio recordings--all the way up to the disaster that was sparked...

In the little hope of pulling everything back together, more recordings are left.

Plans & Suspicions: A year ago, his father abruptly disappeared, leaving rumors to spread, and more horrible events to occur--and Michael isn't quite sure how to feel.

However, he's discovered his father's location--and has dragged the rabbit along for the next stop: Circus Baby's.

...All the while Michael has a lot to consider--such as who caused the incidents. His father, or...?

alfkdjsaoidjojsodjfs I just read The Last Thread.. again. It is honestly the hottest fic I have ever read. I know some stories don't end in perfect happiness but if you ever want to revisit this universe I am all the way seated. Edwina wasn't really preg and fucked off to India or ran away with the footman or choked on a chicken bone I don't care. xoxoxoxo

Poor Edwina!!! (Though Anthony is almost certainly the one feeding her those chicken bones!)

I’m so glad you’re a Dark!Anthony fan, it was really fun writing that series. Though it seems such a wild change of pace to the silly, happy Kanthony I’ve been writing of late.

I had started to write an extra chapter where they find themselves in the stables, so many ropes and reigns and whips…so, umm, never say never. If I find myself needing a bit of darkness I may find my way back to them.

Truthfully, there is so much stuff that MXES wishes to do--but the hare considers it all pointless. After all, the original times the hare spent awake were... very short--and were only spent watching The Mimic.

Then, when the hare wakes up after 100 years, The Mimic has escaped--and everyone's being like "Once you deal with this guy--which you will--you'll go back into a deep sleep, and you won't be woken back up."

And MXES just... isn't sure how to handle that. How could all of the others be convinced to keep the hare fully around?

Send me asks about/for The Last Thread. Out of all of the current and new AU's, this MXES one is just making me have so many thoughts, and I already wanna talk about it more.

Vanessa certainly seems human--and MXES, throughout most of it, always assumed that she was. Although, that's not entirely true... anymore. Vanessa was honestly doing a lot before joining MXES.

About ten years prior, Vanessa found herself becoming a rabbit... and she honestly had no idea how to fix it--and as of the present, still doesn't. Not one bit.

At the very least, she can sort of disguise herself to resemble enough of her human self. But MXES still eventually figures out what she looks like now.

And it's purely accidental--it all just kind of slips away, and out steps this white rabbit, ready to continue traveling. And MXES is just... staring.

MXES technically isn't going on this 'little' task to deal with The Mimic--as an encounter with Vanessa happens, and not long after that, chooses to accompany the hare.

She knows what The Mimic is capable of--practically everyone does--even if a lot has never really seen him, but that doesn't really change the woman's mind.

But, initially... MXES is just trying to be distant--trying to not get very attached to her. Since, again, all MXES knows is that once this is all said and done, the hare will be shut back off/put back into a deep state of sleep.

So, why make a friend?

The Last Thread: "Thoughts"

Vanessa stood just a little up ahead, simultaneously trying to make herself something to eat, while also trying to figure out the map that she had taken.

It wasn't something that would necessarily take that long--or even be that hard in the first place--but the woman seemed far more focused on the little piece of paper, holding it in one hand.

With the other, she'd managed to open her bag up, and take out a packet--but opening that with a single hand was proving to be far too difficult.

With a sigh, MXES began to approach. I don't believe that we quite need the map... why did she bring it? His footsteps can be easily spotted all over the ground.

We don't need to go anywhere else. We just need to a specific path that will lead to Mimic. I'll deal with him. I'll deal with him. MXES twitched. I can't let her.

She still looked to be struggling, and MXES's eyes rolled. I'll deal with him; I can do that. Then we just... head back, and I...

The hare's body grew tense, as one of the hare's hands slowly began to form into a fist. We'll head back, and then I won't be doing anything else. That's it. I'll be asleep. Right. Of course.

MXES kept a laugh from escaping. How could I nearly forget that? The first time I get to go much of anywhere else, or see anything new, and at the same time, it's the last.

Will it be like the other times? Or will I dream? What could I possibly dream about? With the other hand, MXES snatched up the packet that Vanessa had been holding.

A thought slipped in--one of which caused MXES's eyes to widen in an instant. Perhaps I could just not deal with The Mimic. Maybe someone else could be put to the job. Maybe I could go somewhere else.

After all, it's only after he's dealt with, right? MXES's head shook, and the packet was torn apart a little more forcefully than the hare had been intending. No, no, no...

It's my job. It's what I need to do. I need to do this. I need to complete it. I...

"MXES?" Vanessa hummed.

The hare stared.

"Is something the matter?"

"No. Everything's just peachy."

Although the original person who made MXES doesn't really matter--nobody really ever met the creator, anyways... as for who is currently in charge of dealing with MXES? Waking the hare up? Keeping the hare asleep?

All of that--including the plan that was made for MXES's fate after dealing with the Mimic... is because of Henry.

He's been around for a while and has actively been the one in control of dealing with MXES. He certainly plans to keep his current decision.
