I desperately need to pick marisha's brain about the differences between beau's feelings for yasha and jester, especially after that playlist drop
Like obviously she's attracted to and has feelings for both
But like on one hand, she's been flirting with yasha since ep 1 and recently yasha has started to genuinely reciprocate
But on the other hand, we have the jester crush and marisha saying on talks that beau's love for jester is incomparable to any other relationship beau's had/has
And its further complicated by the fact we know that beau is (in marisha's words) lucky in lust and unlucky in love. We know she is desperate to feel loved and that adds a layer of confusion over is beau more responsive and open to yasha because she definitely likes yasha more or is it colored by the fact she knows yasha is also gay and doesn't have that extra layer of "oh its hopeless to even bother" she has with jester because she thinks jester is straight? (Whether jester is or isn't is a whole other topic I would love to pick laura bailey's brain about)
Like I dont doubt she genuinely likes yasha but speaking as a lesbian personally its definitely easier to flirt with people you know are also queer than people who as far as you know are straight. Like it doesn't mean her feelings for either are inherently more or less it just explains why she's more open with one than the other (the fear of being seen as the predatory lesbian by your straight friends is real no matter how supportive they are of you and I commend marisha for putting that layer into her performance. Its complicated)
Basically I just want to hear marisha talk about beau and her thoughts and feelings for hours on end because she's very complex and her feelings are complex and her love life is complex and she's just a gift of a character because she's allowed to be so complex and messy and human and it makes her feel authentic and real
