Here. Have a headcanon.
So. When the lazies get drunk—not so drunk they’re incoherent, but drunk enough to be comfortable—they break out the science. Sans starts drawing star charts and talking excitedly about nuclear fusion and the formation of elements. He grabs hold of the nearest person and exclaims, “don’t you see? everything is made of stardust! it’s just. it’s so beautiful!”
Red holds himself more aloof, and he doesn’t have the formal schooling, so he’s not as sure of himself...but if he’s given a little encouragement, he’ll nearly wiggle in his seat and talk about black holes and antimatter and string theory. He grabs anything at hand to try and explain things, but makes terrible analogies, like “black holes are kinda like oranges. see, the event horizon’s the rind, an’—wait, no, they’re like magnets. wait.”
Stretch is more of a math guy, and he’ll wax poetic about fractals and how math is manifest in nature. And he’ll use this knowledge to craft terrible pick-up lines. “c’mon, sweetheart, lemme show you how to calculate the slope of your curves~.”
Slim is, still, pretty quiet. He’s more likely to start sketching out blueprints and ideas. He clams up if you ask him to explain anything, but he’ll slide the finished product over to the other three--or to Papyrus and Blue--and blush as they gush over the possibilities.
Velouria and Dwyer is actually really cute
