The one thing I love about Supernatural is that they introduced a race of creatures so evil and destructive that God had to shove them in purgatory, and then they made their leader a corporate exec who’s buying up a bunch of businesses. Like yes bestie, CEOs are indeed terrifying eldritch horrors.

Headcanon that Jimmy Novak was a voice of reason for Castiel when Jimmy's soul still occupied his body. Imagine tho: At first, Cas was annoyed with having Jimmy talk to him. But as time went on, as Cas learned more about humanity, he started to listen. Jimmy talked about Claire and Amelia a lot and sometimes Castiel would visit them so Jimmy would know they were okay. They would talk about the Winchesters, mostly Dean. About the importance of the Righteous Man in the grand scheme of things. Castiel explained how he freed Dean from Hell. Then once Uriel betrayed him, Jimmy encouraged Castiel to follow what he believed was right. And was the one to suggest that Castiel seek out God for help once Lucifer rose. And then was the one to console Castiel when God was nowhere to be found. Jimmy Novak would tell him to believe, to not let go of his faith. Jimmy taught him how to accept humanity. Jimmy taught him how to love. Jimmy taught him the meaning of sacrifice, and what to sacrifice for. Jimmy was human, but he was the best human for Castiel to ever meet. And once Jimmy was gone. Well, Castiel lost his voice and his first human friend.

Chuck knew being out in the open was a risk as the whole universe was out looking for him, but he needed fresh air, he needed food and water and most importantly alcohol.

He’d only left the house and wardings for about an hour, though he’d still taken the hexbeg that was supposed to hide him from demons at least (and other evil, whatever that meant). He’d stopped at the park, had quite enjoyed the quiet since it was already slowly going dark outside.
