Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei, S10E04 High Speed (2001)
(via The Dick Kunc Story - The Lost Episodes)
I find it heartbreaking that the animators decided he needed to be absolutely glowing in this scene. He radiates a youthful innocence we’ve never gotten to see from Obi-Wan. Is this the Obi-Wan Yoda remembers from his initiate days? Before Bruck and Xanatos? Before the war? Is this the man he knows Obi-Wan would have been without the unnatural stresses of being a general and a young council member during the republic’s darkest days? Without the death of his men weighing on his shoulders like the weight of the world? Without Qui-Gon’s death always scraping at his very being? Without the constant feeling that he was never good enough for Anakin? For any of them? Is this what Yoda knows he could see when he looks at his great grandpadawan; instead of the pain, heartbreak, and fear that seem to call the young master home? Even temptations are born of truth, that’s what makes them so tempting.
you know james mitchell just wants to write queer characters whenever he can
Headcanon:
Chuck wasn’t left in the dirt. He somehow hijaked some magic/angel grace/whatever (previously God so you know he got connections), traveled back in time, to OUR universe (he thought he destroyed them all but our universe was created outside of his control/ didn’t know existed), became a CW executive, and this is why/how we got the ending we did. Supernatural has gone full meta.
(Ties in the “nailed” by rebar, VampMimes, all the lamp symbolism, the night we met, everything happening on social media and tumblr right now... all “SOS” signals.)
.
Headcanon (part 2):
This is now an episode. 15x21 Working titles: “Writer’s Revenge” “Executive’s Revenge” “Chuck’s Revenge” ... (like “The French Mistake” 2.0)
Episode ends with Jack actually getting involved because he is the only one who can... ends up having to kill Chuck/ wipe memory and timeline resets... [end scene] and now the “show” is back on track...
Stay tuned for next week 15x22 the real “Carry on...”
Working titles: “The Truth” ;) “Family don’t end in Blood” “Free to be you and me”
.
Tumblr author note: I have a working plot/dialogue outline for 15x22...
